Lindsay Lohan was born in New York on July 2, 1986. She started modeling and acting at the tender age of 3, and was the first redheaded child ever signed by the prestigious Ford Modeling Agency. After shooting more than 60 commercials, she was hired to play Alexandra "Alli" Fowler in the television series Another World.
Then in 1997, Lindsay was cast in a starring role playing the twins in the remake of the classic Disney film, The Parent Trap. This role earned her a Young Artist Award for Leading Actress and a Blockbuster Entertainment Award.
Lindsay then went on to make original Disney Channel Movies as well, including 'Life Size' and 'Get a Clue'. Then came the theatrical remake of 'Freaky Friday'. It was a huge hit, and helped her to launch her dream of having a musical career. She has now been signed to a major record label.
Lindsay continued her success with Disney in 'Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen', then she jumped over to Paramount Studios to re-team with Freaky director Mark S. Waters for 'Mean Girls', another big hit.
Currently she is filming another feature for Disney, 'Herbie: Fully Loaded', then 'Dramarama', 'Gossip Girl', 'Fashionistas', and she's recording a new CD in between filming. With all of her success, Lindsay only just turned 18!
