Everyone remembers Laurie Metcalf best for her three-time Emmy-winning role as Roseanne's sister on the long running hit sitcom Roseanne. She also starred in the ABC sitcom The Norm Show opposite Norm McDonald.
Laurie began her acting career as one of the original members of Chicago's famed Steppenwolf Theater, opposite such alumni as John Malkovich, Gary Sinise, and Glenne Headly. This led to roles in feature films including, Desperately Seeking Susan, Making Mr. Right, Miles From Home, Uncle Buck, Internal Affairs, JFK , Mistress, A Dangerous Woman, and Blink. |
