The TZONE Foundation was created in 1999 by supermodel, actress and television producer, Tyra Banks. TZONE is a highly praised leadership and life skills development program for primarily disadvantaged teen girls in the greater Los Angeles area.
The TZONE mission is to provide a fun and supportive program that reinforces core values of trust and support, challenges teen girls to resist negative social pressures, and enhances self-empowerment, inspiring girls to become confident leaders in their communities.
The TZONE Camp creates a unique bond of sisterhood by combining the physical fun of trust-building games with nightly discussions on age related issues. By grappling with new challenges, discovering and sharing common fears, strengths, and experiences, TZONE girls realize the strong qualities they already possess.
